WKF President meets Crown Prince of Emirate of Fujairah

WKF President Antonio Espinós met with the Crown Prince of the Emirate of Fujairah His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi.

On the eve of the final day of the 2022 Karate 1-Premier League Fujairah, a Karate delegation headed by WKF President visited Fujariah’s palace to meet with the Crown Prince of the Emirate of Fujairah.

The WKF President was accompanied at the reception by UAE Karate Federation President and AKF President Major General Nasser Alrazooqi. Members of the WKF Executive Committee Davide Benetello, Ibrahim Al Gannas, Bechir Cherif, Souleymane Gaye, and EKF Secretary-General Davor Cipek were among the Karate officials in attendance.

During the meeting, the importance of the celebration of first-class sports events in the UAE was raised as the country’s status as a major hub of the sport was highlighted.

After the meeting, the Crown Prince of the Emirate of Fujairah His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi travelled to Zayed Sports Complex to attend the final day of the competition and to lead the awarding ceremony of the event.
